Founded by MA Central Saint Martins graduate, Strong Theveethivarak. London-based menswear brand Strongthe’s approach to creating menswear is inspired by daily experiences and modern weaknesses contrasting his name. Using his native traditional structures as a visual foundation and building on the physical impairment-inspired design sensibility. He developed a focus on creating confined forms that support the silhouette of the wearer. Strong Theveethivarak most recent collection ‘Jackpot555’ presents your lucky numbers come to life.

Inspired by Thailand’s lottery obsession and how numbers affect its people’s mentality. Phone numbers, car plates, mysterious markings on trees, and the numerical decoding of dreams; digits found in the most unexpected of places guide the player to their fortune.

The madness reflects the financial inequality in Thai society, and the charm of the country’s devotion to the game is quickly offset by the stark reality that such desperation derives from a hopelessness and lack of access to other means of gaining resources.
